2010 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4

This is my 4th F150, one each decade for the last four. I've owned a 1986, 1994, 2007 and now 2010 F150s. My 2007 was a nice truck but I was never a big fan of the color which was green. It was also a supercab and I always wanted just a little more cab room. Then my buddy got a 2009 XLT and I was in love. Everything about the new F150 was better than the 2004-2008s, Ford had really done their homework. So after months of begging my wife for the green light she gave me the go ahead with one rule. She told me I had to get EXACTLY what I wanted because I'd need to own this one a while!

I wanted the black interior, the Sony radio with 11 speakers, the trailer brake controller and several other must have items. The color HAD to be dark blue or ingot silver. I was set to order one from my local dealer when I realized that Ford had increased the price by almost $1000. That pissed me off. So I went on an all out mission searching "local inventory" on the Ford site until I found the perfect truck. I went to Atlanta, a mere 440 miles away, and bought my "perfect" truck.

The 2010 F150 replaced my 2007 F150 which was a great truck but I was simply never in love with it. Great truck but nowhere near the truck IMHO this new one is.

The 2007 F150 replaced my 2003 Dodge Dakota which I dearly loved. It was a great truck to me and will serve it's next owner well to be sure. Here's a picture of the Dakota..
